Really? I gave up on new tomb raider after playing first part. And store page for mentioned above showed mostly some ancient stuff xD Maybe will dig through screenshots for that game later :)

Yeah, it's pretty great - the sound design, the visuals and the overall atmosphere is something else. It's my favorite horror game for sure, but to be fair, I haven't played much horror games since these are mostly not my thing and this one is kinda different, being a top-down survival horror and all. And I do like me some soviet aesthetic sometimes, so clearly my opinion is biased xD

Great topic, I was born myself in an ex-Soviet country and by skimming the thread, I believe all my recommendations have already been mentioned. However, I wanted to share a spectacular actual real-world example of Soviet architecture from my country. You can read a bit more about it here, I find it both very absurd and fascinating.

Besides CoD 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Metro games, I remember some levels in CoD: World at War and CoD: Black Ops. Both great games, also because of their interlaced stories, strongly recommended.
