some guy just messaged me asking if i could download teamviewer. seriously, ppl should try harder than this.

Was that some pitiful try to scam you? TeamViewer only allows him to view your desktop, but not control it unlike join.me, or am I wrong?

no, i guess he could do pretty much everything. used at work so other guy could set up magento, mysql and stuff for me.

You can definitely control their computer with TeamViewer. It's been ages since I used it, so whether or not they need specific permission to do so, I'm not sure.

The guy actually asked me if i knew what it was for. I said I did, and he asked me to donwload it. I just said 'no dude' and he said 'ok'.
I felt sorry for him lol.
