Do bots snaggle everything on here?
Asking because I want to dump a lot of old keys. I used to be active on here many years ago, gifting a fair bit and really enjoying this site. I was a bit of game collector back then and dabbled in a little trading too but completely fell off in terms of keeping up with this place and gaming in general for that matter.
I used to buy every bundle going for a good while and don't even know what works or doesn't but I have a long list. Would like the keys to go to people rather than bots jumping on everything but at the same time don't want to put too much work into masking or hiding the keys using some sort of code. Is there an easy solution for me?
Used to really like this place so would rather the community benefited above all else. I don't know what the latest solutions are, does anybody have an idea?

Very often snagged by bots or what we call "ninjas" (non-bots that claim without saying thanks, or at least saying that they claimed the key - lurkers, or sometimes people that don't even have an account since the forum is publicly accessible).

You can list your games there, or just ask to message you, and with some requirements if you want.

Thanks very much for the answer, it's been a long long time since I've been here.
I guess I'll use that thread and put in some work, dumping a few batches when I get the time. They're going to be far from desired titles but maybe some people will have some fun playing these older bundle games or farming cards if that's still a thing? It's been so long I don't even know if cards still exist or if people care about them.
Keys never expire, do they? I have aprroximately 5000.

Oh, dang. I thought "a lot" was going to be a couple dozens, maybe 3 digits... Not to that point, lol.
Also yeah, card farming is still very much a thing. Up to you to see if you'd like to have people play the games, or if you don't care about the keys just turning into a couple 3 cents.

Also - Steam keys normally don't expire, although they are certain circumstances where they do (or get revoked), like the Jingle Jam keys, or recently some Humble Bundle games (mostly Bethesda ones, IIRC).
And, bundled doesn't necessarily mean uninteresting... :o

Don't mean to take up to much of your time, if I used Axelflox's suggestion.......is there a guide these days for region locked keys? What is, what isn't, what can we give, what can't we? When I was more active Steam were begginingon clamping down on that sort of thing. I used to get some games off Russians and Brazilians sometimes but I don't even know if that's still a thing. SteamDB was useful for looking things up. Lol, I don't even know how to make a giveaway anymore.
All the bundled ones should be global, but if I was to make a giveaway and hide a few in there I obviously want to make sure I can give away the game in the actual giveaway! I don't mind spending a bit of money on some of the more recent top releases. Let's have some fun!

Sadly a lot of them probably went to bots since they weren't "encrypted". But considering the amount, would have been quite a lot of work, so I don't blame you, lol.

Short answer: I don't know.
Long answer: The only potentially region-locked keys I've had were from Fanatical and here. SteamDB might have some information, but I am not sure. I just know that for gifting through Steam, the restriction applies when the regional pricing has a 10+% difference (IIRC). For keys... Not sure. Maybe check the seller website if you noted where you got the bundles?

Erm... Would you happen to have some more keys for the games you shared, or were they all grouped together? I skimmed a bit through them, I noticed at least GRID 2 and Thief I would have been very interested in (love racing, love stealth). :')

Not really just bots. But people do claim them real quick too, the anti-ninjas thread like FranckCastle pointed out might be more what you want but you'll see people answer super quick over there too.

if you look close enough FVC you'll gona see keys are missin last three (3) chars but you can BI3 reverse letters found here and add 'em as missin parts u need to redeem 'em.

It looks really cool and isn't too visibly related to the game, which is why I use it - I'm not interested in the game, but I got it from an event. 😆 If you rarely get Steam Points, you can also get it from the Market at around 6 cents (or order for less), if you are the kind to spend a couple cents on these.
