So I don't know how many of you got it, but I got a newsletter from Humble Bundle about something called Humble Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Bundle. Clicking on it leads me to Humble Store with following information: Whoops! We accidentally sent you our newsletter early. Please check back tomorrow. Sorry for ruining the surprise. Looks like another week of GameDev tools with source code: More exporters, source code, and GAMES! (taken from newsletter).

Another useless bundle, which I don't actually mind. Saves me money. ^_^

There are some nice games made with the engine like Freedom Planet and Wings of Vi (I only remember this two from the list, was late when I checked) - there's a chance to be something good, but yeah - easier to start from 0 expectations

Wouldn't be surprised if Freedom Planet was bundled, we've seen it in a fair amount of those already. But it would be nice if Wings of Vi was, though. :)

The aforementioned 'list' which I linked before I saw EvilBudgie's post below

Freedom planet was bundled twice I think, you're right. At first I also frowned upon the bundle-leak, but there's a chance that it will be decent. And personally I rather see a good bundle with games I already have, than a generally weak one with unowned games. ^_^

I really hope Freedom Planet isn't bundled in this pack.. It's been bundled by Indiegala one time, Humble Bundle 3 times, and Bundlestars 2 times..

Freedom Planet and Wings of Vi aren't in it, according to a Clickteam rep on reddit

Check my post at the bottom of the thread.. I wonder if that's it.

Well, I feel it's because Freedom Planet was already bundled multiple times that it was very likely a candidate - alas that theory got quashed.

In reference to the post at the bottom, I think you misinterpreted. They're spotlighting the games, not actually selling them at the same time with the software.

Ah ok, I did take a quick glance so I was mistaken. Thanks for pointing that out :)

Well, at least they can offer a larger variety than the one billionth zombie shooter…

Most RPG Maker games are still better than Call of Duty 90001, and they are better than 90% of the games where the publishers\devs are basically doing this "hey, we need more money, what should we do? Make a new game?" "Naaaaa lets just put 2 fancy effects in our game and resell it as remastered edition"

We do, actually. Or, to put it better, we need more not terrible RPG maker games. More games like To The Moon or LISA will always be welcome.

Steam (Valve) has nothing to do with Humble Bundle and what they decide to offer in their bundles.

I strongly believe Humble Bundle is aimed to profit themselves, so they put crappier and crappier bundles for consumers. I miss the year 2012 when all the bundles were gold and you really were anticipating to buy it. Now you just wait and hope it's not another crap bundle. Then again, that's my opinion. :P

There was also a lot more to choose from in 2012 since bundles where new back then. By now most interesting games are either too new (or devs not interested in bundles) to be bundled or have been bundled already.

Yeah, also Steam has a lot more crappy games than before thanks to constant advertisement on Greenlights. "Click yes and we will provide you key later" and they actually never will. Profit to the max.

Humble bundle would NEVER put games in a bundle that were given away for free /s

For reference I'm joking since the last two monthly bundles (which are their most expensive and . . . I guess exclusive since you can only get them when you only know one game that is going to be in it.) had a game that were basically free or have a $5 DLC to show your support for the devs.

The discussion is about the tool used to make the games, not the games themselves. And not all those games are bad, anyway.

As Humble Bundle said they would also never put already bundled (on their site) games in the Monthly bundles, but guess what happened? People and corporations say a lot what they don't later deliver. It's a marketing strategy to get more consumers to buy their products.

Anyway, as thenevernow said the discussion was about the Fusion 2.5 since you can create games and I meant many of those games that have been created with it have been given for free at some point. Also feels like a limited game creating program in my opinion. Better learn C++ and create some unique and good games. :p

Well, I assume this going to be a bad bundle. The games in the list of games made with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 are not that good. However I would be happy if "Not a Hero" would be in the bundle. I actually expect it to be in the bundle.

It would be cool if Not a Hero and The Escapists were bundled since I know my friend would only get them if they were in a bundle and not in the top tier (unless the entire bundle is great.)

Actually... quite a few are really good.

Odallus, Pharoh Rebirth, The Escapists, AVGN, Noitu Love 2, Wings of Vi, Manos, The Yawhg, Knytt Underground, Fistful of Gun, Not a Hero and Environmental Station Alpha are all games I've played and would very much vouch for, they're great, if not more than decent.

That's just the ones I've played too, open your mind a little and check those games out, I'm sure at least one will make you pleasantly surprised.

(Freedom Planet is pretty bad though)

Ooh, there's some games on that list I'd like to try. Especially hope Pharaoh Rebirth shows up.

(And opinions and all, but Freedom Planet is one of my absolute favorite platformers, and I'm a Nintendo fan :P)

Freedom Planet is generally liked and rated high, I know.

But the story and voice acting kills it for me. But that's just me.

I kinda appreciate the story in a Saturday morning cartoon kind of way, but I can totally see it as a turn off. Adventure mode removes all the cutscenes though and goes straight to the fantastic gameplay, if you feel like giving it a second chance.

The Five Nights at Freddies games were also made in Clickteam Fusion.

To be honest, I'm excited for this - I love game dev bundles, and I love Clickteam Fusion (already own the developer edition and some exporters, but would love this bundle to feature more exporters). Can't wait :D

Usually the top unlock is the pro/developer version of the app. In this they only give a small discount coupon for it -- so lame.

I would always be happy with new dev bundle :)

but I'm also a bit disapointed, only a 16% discount on dev upgrade + no android but a 50% discount on a dlc coupon that are only valid until 11/2/2016, 3:00:00 AM ! :-/ (normally I would be very happy but compared with the previous gamemaker bundle it feels a bit lame)
