Congratulations on winning the prize.

I keep seeing the opportunity in front of my eyes.
Entry. It is the only way that the winning rate 0% disappears.
However, after the election, the battle to take time to play is not over.

The battle for the game of the SteamGifts user continues in 2019.

Who says i don't? I got a coffee lake 8700k, minimum graphic cards requirements would be touch and go with the onboard Intel UHD 630, but right now i borrowed my dads 1070TI, so.

Dunno why you make assumptions.

This year, "There is not good a bit." There was also a misfortune in the family who eventually did not improve the margin economically ....

Next year, I feel that I'm bothered by "the first half natural disaster" and "the second half human disaster".
I want to avoid the misfortune that is thrown by the flow of the river ....
In my country, there is the word "Kappa's River Flow".

Even experts and Master sometimes fail. That is what it means.(ノΘ`)
However, if there are different countries, there will be good talks. I expect a good story.

[NSFW] A little dirty story,
The other day my younger sister clogged the toilet🚽💩. If arrange a waterworks builder, will not be able to come to Steamgifts at a great expense.
"Do or do not. There is no try.."
This is bad! I poured lukewarm water and detergent over 2 hours, put it in the liquid which disappeared over 2 hours, I thought that clogging was solved somehow.

Yeah, it smells. It is very smelly. It smelled like a poison gas attack, poison gas hit the toilet at the end of the last opening.
Is that the end of life?
I thought that I would die.

Let's have fun game time without regret than time to worry about.
I can not bring Steam's game to "the world after death".XD

Those who believe will be saved.
Those who believe can not be saved.
The old man is the first row.
The young human is the second row.

Either way, things start from believing in yourself.

First of all, I believe in the existence of food.
Believe that there is a place.
It is to believe that there are clothes to wear.

The third line is the king who came in a fairy tale.
Kejserens nye klæder?
Did you believe anyone else?
Did you believe in yourself?

it does not have any special meaning. :)
Excessive trust was the source of unhappiness.

It is a good book if you like straight up real talk and... what seems to be honest and naked truth? I don't know how to explain it. It really helped me understand things in simple terms though... about many aspects of life. :D

He's a fascinating writer!

that's definitely a fantastic suggestion, I think it's not useful to anyone my translation of this article that someone wrote https://ilmiolibro.kataweb.it/opinione/285259/il-profeta-di-kahlil-gibran-un-libro-da-cercare-nel-bisogno/ but it ends with this:
"the modernity of Gibran's thought lies in the wisdom he expresses in his verses, a simple kind of wisdom that doesn't belong to any religion or belief, and that can reside in everyone of us, resurfacing in the time of need"
I should recommend that book too, so many years have passed since I read it, Gibran's still too poorly known here!

I am glad you've heard of Gibran! He's great! I have a few people in my mind that really wrote great things.. that I go back to once in a while in my bookshelf. This guy's one of those. :)

Do you by chance know of Paulo Coelho? Read any of his stuff, or looked up quotes? He has that sort of - what I call - amazing mind too... ;)

I can go on and on, but I had to mention it, since they're looking for it in the topic!

that's the same for me! growing up I read tons of books but in these years I kind of stopped reading novels, but there are some selected authors in my room (yeah I have an entire room only for books but many of them are inherited, i'm an only child and my father is one too xD) that are always on display! =P

Coelho is extremely famous here in Italy, although 80% of us think he's Portuguese xD but anyways apart from his quotes and things we find everywhere, I don't know many guys who actually read some of his books..
one of the books he wrote was one of the points in common I had with the girl that is nowadays my girlfriend, namely "Veronika Decides to Die", we had both read that one as teenagers and we had a chat about it =P
I read also Manual of the Warrior of Light (I'm cross translating, going from the Italian titles to the Portuguese originals and then to the English translations xD) which seems to be one of the most sold and displayed here, and The Alchemist (which had won an important literary prize in Italy too) but I think only those three, and I really loved them but as I might imagine, I should read something more of him am I right? =P

Nah, it's probably me that should be reading more of his works. I don't remember what I've read... by him... in all honesty. My lyme-brain has some things clouded out, so I need to go re-read a few. I think I have at least The Prophet in here and I believe it's an audio-book... fancy! :)

You are amazing - hearing about how you had to translate so much stuff (remember you mentioning the old gamefaqs debacles), but that is no easy task... I can't learn even my own native language, english! They're always coming up with new slang terms... so ... very awesome to hear you've read some of his work. It just popped in my head because from what I have read of him, his style reminds me a little bit of Gibran in ways... perhaps that philosophical approach in certain types of writings. I haven't read enough of his stuff to make a really informed comment, but I should read more of it!

If you are curious about something really big, but really interesting - something that would be very difficult to translate however - technical words - maybe look for William James. He's done some cool philosophy as well as "religious" or spiritual, trying to tie those two together. They seem to be going in opposite directions, but he did some amazing lectures in Scotland around 1900's. My all-time favorite book ever is The Varieties of Religious Experience by him.

If you ever run across an Italian version, I highly recommend it! And thank you for sharing! You're far ahead of me on that subject with Coelho. :P

oh well, I never really got involved into audio books and I should definitely consider to start reading novels through them, these years I'm really really lazy for what concerns reading so it could be an easier way to re-start =P yeah I'm really glad you remember all those things ahah and thanks a lot for your words of course =) Gamefaqs provided me a huge load of information (which went way beyond the single game walkthrough!) but on the other hand it required so many efforts from a middle school boy that knew no English at all.. xD

the slang or more generally speaking the "common" english though is something that still makes me struggle a lot, I can understand and have normal English conversations (at least speaking about Americans: British or Scottish accents sound much harder to me xD), but when it comes to you know, all these new pop or rap songs, I can't understand anything xD But fortunately for what concerns reading and normal conversations I'm quite ok, my pronounciation sucks, but luckily (due to gaming, most of all, even more than book reading) my vocabulary is wide so I can always understand everything when I'm abroad or on the Internet =P (I should train my pronounciation so bad though!!)
yes, I agree with the phylosophical content of the two, at least for the books I read of them :) there's definitely something similar!

my ignorance reaches new levels on William James, I really didn't know it... I just saw that the essay you mentioned, "Le varie forme dell'esperienza religiosa. Uno studio sulla natura umana", has been published in Italy decades ago in a version edited by Giovanni Filoramo and this is something great - Filoramo is a brilliant professor and religion historian, I studied some of his books at the university and that makes me sure that it's a greatly-translated book that I must read! ;)

Hah! I am glad they have a translated William James work! This is nice to hear. It's a big book! But... there are some special parts in there. I cannot explain why, but that book made an impact on me like no other book ever has. If you find you get into a read of it sometime, let me know if you like it! It's good to hear from you. Wishing you a wonderful upcoming New Year!

English will always evolve into a strange language... it's like... mostly borrowed words from other languages all mixed in. It makes almost no sense. I overdo my english when I type. I use big fancy words a lot of the time, and I forget to simplify things. It's probably a good idea on a global place like steamgifts to be more accurate and specific with word choices at times. I am glad it's here to communicate with so many great people though. One way I can escape my own troubles and sicknesses... and make a difference in the world around me. :3

Yeah, especially considering the high value and the complexity of James' work I think I'm kinda forced to read his essay in the Filoramo-edited Italian translation.. I read more (common/Internet) English than Italian every day, but even if I don't know him I'm pretty sure that it would be quite a hard reading from a non-native English speaker like me if I bought the original =P

Since I started to work, I kept on funding a ONLUS (I don't know the precise translation in English, it should be something like "non-profit-making organization) that promotes Esperanto and fights English in Europe, since we're undergoing a harsh anglicization process at the point that we're starting to see in Milan public-funded universities that teach only in English (with books printed in the UK, teachers from the UK and so on).. but it's mandatory to know a bit of English, and this means of course that, as you said, since English is the world language it will become year by year more "influenced" by other languages and cultures..

I'm really happy about what you do here and in general, it's awesome that you value your language and you protect it, it's an amazing language like all the other languages in the world to me, and if I were american or british or whatever I'd probably do the same, and when I read people like you it's always for me a chance both to improve my English knowledge and to improve my own native language usage. Fortunately the trend in Italy these years is leaning towards a more cultured and educated language, we're re-discovering the beauty of our language since as every other "big" European languages, Italian too is getting weird due to the introduction of English terms but also due to a massive introduction of new "slang" terms (the same goes for France, to give an example) from the new generations, and that sucks, I often can't understand the new Italian rappers, half of the words they say are used only by teenagers and it's so weird xD

Thanks for spreading knowledge and best of luck for your future too =)

There is no "human" here.
It may be a creatures wearing human stuffed animals.
Perhaps one of Kappa's stuffed toys is typing on the PC keyboard and dancing.
