Trader Wishlisted SCAM me Just Cause 3, RE5, RE6

Also i think this person has been brought up in TG group...you might want to join Traders Guild if your going to trade as you can always ask about someone to see if anyone has dealt with anyone you are thinking of trading with,also chat is friendly and has good people

Also never trade with anyone with a private profile or at the least ask them to make it public if they are not willing to,then i would strongly advise not do deal with them as they may be hiding something.At least when it is public you can do a better search on them and better at finding out who you are trading with.

File a complaint through support. That person's profile is marked private for everybody.

In the future, when making big trades, trade only with people with verified steamgifts user accounts- or better yet, trade only with Barter.vg users that have feedback on both sites.

You should report the user to steam and steamrep, both services will make note of the matter for the future. Putting in a support ticket here on sg can also potentially help punish the user, if they have a sg account.

There is absolutely no way to reclaim your lost items.

The others are right. I'm just here to ask what the hell a Wishlisted scam is? Hell... someone might as well explain to me how anyone gets scammed on Steam. I don't even understand how that is really possible.

He's level 43 on steam, wow. And has a pending report on steam rep...

You should remove his profile link, you'll get suspended (I know you're justing warning people, but rules are rules).

Report him on steam and steam rep.

Noone can help you. All you can do is be smarter next time. There are a lot of resources to prevent scams.

Big Giant red flag should have been the private profile. People who trade with private profiles are hiding all the negative rep they get.

A quick search on steamrep shows at least 2 people reporting he scammed them.

And how on Earth does someone scam you out of Just Cause 3, RE5 and RE6? How do you give up that much with no caution? Sorry not trying to make it worse, just trying to help you understand.

you can help yourself closing the thread and reporting this in thr proper place.
everyone pays a price to learn that... you just paid higher than average. be WAY more careful next time.

1) Have screenshots of your discussion with him, your gift history, and your trade history.
2) Report him on steamrep.
3) Open a ticket on steamsupport.
4) -rep him on steamgifts.
