You know, the most thing i remember from shanghai is the food that like dumpling, and have chicken/meat in it. i bough that at market that have pond, and all the house look traditional, forget the market name, just remember that the line for that food is quite long

My neighborhood isn't very inspiring, but I'll take it as a mini-project to come up with something. I'm up for the challenge :-)
BTW, if you like travelling, you're so lucky to live in Indonesia. So many amazing places to see. I was supposed to go to Bali a couple of years ago (for work, no less) but couldn't get a visa. Probably the biggest disappointment I had in recent years. I already planned to extend my stay by 2 weeks, but to no avail. No amount of string pulling could make this happen. I'm Israeli, if I didn't mention it. We can get a visa if it's part of an organized trip with a group, but apparently not as an individual.

Yup, Indonesia really made by God for traveling, i myself go to Bali each year to hangout. I'll tell you a secret, foreigners tend to think only about Bali as destination in Indonesia, but imo all other city are as good as Bali, the difference is just that Bali have good foreigners-friendly infrastructure

My plan was actually to spend more time in Borneo than in Bali. It's just that work (if you can call it that) involved an event in Bali. This is all moot now, as I didn't get to go. Hopefully it'll be easier for me to get a visa in the future.
Until I take a picture from my neighborhood, I attach one I took a couple of weeks in a different place in Israel. It's called HaMinsara, in Ramon crater. Enjoy!

I don't take too many pics of where I live, but it's pretty nice. Like for instance I took this at the local park early the day after it rained. Most of the time there's smog so this isn't something you see everyday.

The Los Angeles Basin which includes the city of LA, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica plus many other small cities/districts that make up metro LA. Photo is crappy here but you can see the ocean from this view. Other things to note is the skyline of DTLA and the Hollywood sign (offscreen but luk's google link shows it). I took this around November last year at the observatory.
