Worth playing, and while playing and so!

I highly enjoyed it too but I think most people didn't like the long driving around town parts with no checkpoints.
Usually have to start all over again when the timer is up but the game had solid gunfights though.

Folks expected a GTA-esque open world with mission markers. Whereas Mafia II allowed for bits and pieces of exploration, but the missions were largely "get from point A to point B" with little time or reason to branch away from it. A bit more linear than people were hoping for.

Still... an absolutely remarkable game. I own it on every gaming platform I have.
