You should remove profile links. People will ignore that it's about a thief and will report you for calling out.

He's a quite known impersonator and scammer.
Also, calling out here is strictly forbidden, since it's against the rules.
Since he's already reported and banned and you thankfully didn't get scammed, there's nothing else you can do. You can always report him on steam though and he'll hopefully get a trade ban at some point. Always remember to be careful! ;)

+1 for removing the link, calling people out can lead to witch hunts and no one deserves that.

What can I say? Report him and be more careful next time.

I use Enhanced Steam (it has handy quick links on the Steam profile that include a Steamrep link) to check every Steam invite that I get and it works good for me. Scammers, imposter's and the like light up as a Christmas tree on Steamrep and are blocked before they even can try something or do damage.

Guidelines

Use the appropriate avenues for support. If you have an issue with another user, submit a ticket with a user report, rather than calling them out within the community or on the forum.
