So I'm thinking on buying a new Laptop since mine's getting old. I came across these 2 setups, but IDK which one's better.
So on one hand, I have a i5 2450M, with a GeForce GT 520MX, 6GB RAM.

On the other hand, there's a i5 480M with a Ge Force GT 540, and 6GB RAM.

I'll be using it for gaming, guitar recording, and writing documents, however I'm interested in the one that could run more games in the future.

Just one, the only one that's available online. I went to the store myself to compare. Samsung 300 E5A

And, do you have the complete setup ?

Yes, same price.
The first one has a i5 2450M, GT 520MX, 6GB DDR3, 500GB @ 5400 rpm.
The other has a i5 480M, GT 540MX, can't remember ram, same HDD.

So the difference lies on the CPU and GPU. sorry about the minimum details, that's all the information I could get.

Not big difference between the two laptops...
If it was me, I'd take the first...
But, look at the number of USB ports (I don't know if it's this word in English D:), the screen, if the keyboard is an antighosting one (mine isn't, I forgot to ask ><) and things like that.

Yeah, I think I'll be going for the first one. I think all keyboards are antighosting, at least I never got one that wasn't. Thanks for the advice :)

That's what I though, the first CPU is better than the second GPU, but still

Yeah. I'm looking for the one that can play more games in the future, so I'm undecided.

From experience, go with the one with the better CPU. Its a lesson I learned the hard way but I will never forget it.,

Well my Pc has a i3 with Hd graphics (sucks), and I could run some games. So I think the CPU's more important.

I'd go for the one with the better gpu then.

I guess it depends which games too, some are more cpu based and others gpu.
