I joined because I like listening to music :)

Firstly it was for leeching.Than i started the give my spare bundle games.Than i started the giving the games i don't even own yet.

After that i met puzzles,puzzlemakers and this awesome community.

Result you ask? I become addicted.

Found this site when I was looking for someone to play Orcs Must Die 2 with. One of the people that posted on the steam forum had a link to some "steamgifts" account thing on their profile, which I thought sounded too good to be true. After an hour or so of research I found out it is legit, just low odds of actually winning anything.

I had some spare steam games and I figured I'd give em away here since I couldn't find anyone else that wanted them in any of my other circles of friends.

I didn't. I signed up for SteamTrades and some time later I wondered what's up with that 'network' thingy. And since it was close to a special date for me, soon the reasonable thing was to make some giveaways.

A friend of mine told me about this place and then disappeared shortly after I joined. I asked him just last week where he went and his reply was that he had entered over 3000 giveaways with no wins and figured his luck was so bad that he'll never win a thing so why bother? Then I told him to quit being a cheap ass and give away a good game or two to increase his CV and join a group or two if he could find one that wanted cheap asses like him for members. Then I showed him my wins on my profile and the bug bit him again. I noticed he finally created his first giveaway! Let's all wish him luck in winning one for himself - or not. He's still a cheap ass.

As for me, after he sent me the link that day I've never looked back. I may need to join a support group. Is there a SG Anonymous group somewhere and how can I get in?

To get free stuff, of course! :) Got a lot of free stuff, but I'm not going to calculate how much that free stuff cost me... :)

Kidding aside, one day I was searching for something on google... I saw a steamgifts.com link somewhere... Clicked it... It looked interesting... I created an account... I entered giveaways... Posted a few bitch threads... Got hated by most of the modderators and also by many users... Saw my dumbness... Tried to make up for it... Entered MOAR giveaways... Won quite a few... Found out I liked the community more than winning games... And here I am.

TL;DR, I joined Steamgifts for the free games, but now I just really enjoy the great community. (Fuck the giveaways. :P)

as I said in the first post I only signed up to win sim games but since those are rarely given out, I tried my hand at winning other games which I've won a few of.
