My girlfriend wanted a parrot (little Alexander), but I don't like them because they are noisy. She then wanted a bunny, but I said that it's all cute when it's young, but we should eat it once it becomes an adult - so she changed her mind towards tortoises (I was ok with those), but she thought their head look like snakes' at pet shop so we didn't buy one. I told her that I wouldn't agree with a big pet since we live in an apartaments' building right now, and the only small pet I like are squirrels (and she doesn't lke them). We have no pet now, but if we will ever move in a house, we'll buy a husky and a labrador.

Yeh, I am not quite sure how much of a "holiday" it is in other countries. Here in Holand everybody knows about it but it is not really a big thing. But it is supposed to be international. And well, animals are awesome :)

Well... since I live in a village in the middle of nowhere I have the privilege of being the proud owner of quite a few animals... let's see...
- 1 Peacock & 3 Peahens
- About two dozen hens & 2 Roosters
- 1 Green Iguana
- 5 Dogs
- And 16 cats (10 of which are still kittens and will be given away to good homes soon)

Thanks! Most of them weren't really in our plans, but since it's a village we get a lot of strays coming in, we feed them, and eventually they become part of the family. It's still amazing how much love those animals can give back! ^-^

I have 2 bunnies. they might be inside but they have a big big place to run around in.
I would like to have a dog too but there is no elivator in my appartment and you can't really make a big dog walk that many stairs every day.

Yeah the stairs are an issue sometimes, though there are breeds of dogs that are extremely active and can take a lot of exercise, it still could be a problem later on if the dog gets a bit older, but I'm no expert :P .
Those bunnies are super adorable as well tho! SO fluffy and chubby, I'd cuddle them all day hahaha ^-^

I have one cat (Micmac since she's black and white) I think she loves me, always asking for attention and attacking my girlfriend either scratching or bitting her........

Gizmo is the bigger one and the Arnie is actually my sister's dog that I can't play or do anything with (or at least I shouldn't risk doing so...).
And yeah... I REALLY love animals and pets. We used to have fish, turtles, mouse, hamster, guinea pigs, hedgehogs... And now we are living with those 2 dogs :) They are awesome!
