By this point, I'd honestly kinda forgotten that SteamTrades was still technically a thing..
Anyway, unfortunately terrible QoL/interface/efficency/etc elements were kinda the main reason ST fell behind Barter from the start [despite being better established, thanks to its well-recognized feedback system], even before the site was [officially] abandoned [in terms of moderation/administration]. If there's any way to make searches on ST be anything other than an absolute trainwreck, I never managed to find it.
Barter is really likely to be a better option if you're searching for anything other than "most recent Monthly games, available for $". And, while ST does work adequately for the latter, you'd still likely be much better off with Bundle Splits for that. Making ST's current niche a rather vague one..
You can try using a targeted Google search by appending "site:steamtrades.com" to the end of your search [eg, "dusk" -"duskers" site:steamtrades.com], but you're likely to get as muddle a set of results as when using ST's own search (namely, since Google'll still call up closed trade threads).
