Since I was dissatisfied with this site's sorting facilities (more like the lack thereof), I decided to write a userscript to add them.

It shows all giveaways on one page and allows you to sort alphabetically, by metascore or by time left - ascending or descending order.

A more detailed description can be found here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/115103

It looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/2DcPl.png

All constructive feedback is welcome.

Considering how his script implements infinite scrolling while mine loads all pages at once, I imagine they would conflict. Haven't tested myself though.

Use SGE addon and go on http://www.steamgifts.com/new. Stay on the page, all new giveaways will be added at the top. No need to refresh.

Kind of useless seeing as we have had a very useful userscript for months now.

Then don't use it? Doesn't mean I can't write one for myself and share.

Which suddenly broke so it's a nice change for me. Also it's seems more useful to me. I still love Zo's but this one feels much more polished. Atleast I can see my points now without having to stare at the delicious blue font everytime.

Hey man, don't throw him to the wolfs yet. He could have some good ideas. And his code is tight.

Nice job, but I will be giving it a pass. Not a fan of Metacritic or any other of those really to determine if I want something (Odd since I review mmos). But it could use a bit more in the criteria department. You don't have it sort by group giveaways, which I do see as a bit of a negative.

If anyone is interested, the script has been updated to take better care of Humble Indie Bundles - now the behavior matches that for other packages: the metascore shown is the highest among the included games. For instance, Humble Indie Bundle #1 now shows 90.

The recent redesign broke the point updating functionality. It's fixed now.

Another update: now the script also hides DLCs for games you don't own. Also added a funky option that sorts by metascore divided by cost to join and by number of entries. This should theoretically increase your chances to win something while still prioritizing the 'better' games ... or something like that, I'm not good at math.
