Created giveaway ended [Question]

I registered here about 20 hours ago, so I am new here. :)

Yesterday, I created a giveaway, when it ended, I clicked the button to send the game to the winner. However, the game is still in my inventory on Steam. The giveaway is still waiting on feedback from the winner, because he/she hasn't been online yet. Is it normal that it's still in my inventory? Will it be sent to the winner when he/she accepts it in his/her email or do I have to add the winner to my friendslist and sent it that way?

send it to the e-mail, or just add him/her directly(trade).

They will have to accept it. Then it will leave your inventory.

You have to add them and give them gift with trade.Or you can send the gift to their e-mail adress.

Okay, good to know what it will leave my inventory when the winner has accepted it. I thought something was wrong, because I still had it.
Gifting it to the e-mail address is easier, think I am going to use this for next giveaways too.
