You should buy both but if you wanna enjoy alot I would recommend Dark Souls II: Scholar of the first sin, I aint much a fan of the witcher but I would recommend play the 2nd one first so you can have a better experience ;)

Save your money for Dark Souls III.

I voted for Witcher 3 but I must say Dark Souls seems to be hell of a fun too. Witcher 3 hands down one of the best games I've ever played. So if you're looking for pure fun and entertainment than choose the white wolf. Dark Souls is more about skill and progress which can be frustrating sometimes.

Why have you decided to buy W3 If you don't like first two Witcher games ?

Out of your poll options I'd say DS2 if you liked the first.
Though I saw you seemed to like Bioshock and Metro 2033, if so give Singularity a try though it is 5 years old at this point :(

Because you didn't like the other Witcher games and with DS1 being your favorite game on Steam then maybe its better to go for DS2

Witcher 3 it is probably the best rpg out there well its in my top 5 list not to mention you will get atleast 200 hours of gameplay if you dont just rush though everything and with the recently added new game plus.....

witcher 3 is very different from w1 and 2, maybe you will like it.
