Haha it's kind of become my calling card at work. "Hey you need that document signed", "Sure thing, let me write on this cabbage leaf, since you're out of stickies".

Happy cake day!
I can't say that gaming has directly opened my career paths, but long ago I did make a spreadsheet that simulated the outcomes of a game show's various strategies, and that taught me a lot about Excel and coding (Visual Basic) that I've used since then.

Happy cake day!
I think so in a way or another, since it helped me to improve my English and now I am a translator

Happy cake day! I don't remember how I got suckered into signing in on this website, but I haven't left it yet. Guess I'm trapped here. SOS!
Gaming has not really helped me, but it definitely got me more computer smart. I never used it much before and now i'm somehow more "techie" than most people I know.

Same. The very first game I bought on Steam "Stardew Valley" needed some techie help with my "potato" laptop in order for it to work. Now that's a game that requires some spreadsheets just on the game play alone. I'm stuck with good company at least.

It's my 1st cake day :D
That fateful day when I found a game review mentioning this site ๐
Now I'm hooked. I was never hooked on Social media like Facebook,Twitter, or Reddit, but this one is just did it for me.
Reading discussions, trying to beat my wins, joining playing groups. I don't have much of that in any other social media group. I like how open-minded and nice many of the users are.
About myself
My real name is Alvin by the way. I got my name from the chipmunk Alvin since my mom thought it was cute ๐คฃ. I've grown to like that name since most people find it easy to remember at least.
I'm the youngest of 2 brothers. If only I had one more brother then, we really would start a band together.
I read a lot of manga. I also play a lot of rpgs. I like survival simulations too.
I'm also really into health stuff. So I really watch what I eat. If you saw me at work, I would be chewing on a head of green cabbage for it's fiber, Vitamin C and other vitamins.
Fun Fact: I actually got my first Full-time job by putting a business strategy game in my resume. It was for a business class where we had to run a simulated company against 4 other universities. My nickname in the group was Chief Cabbage Officer (CCO) since I would also bring my cabbage to our team briefings. I was the numbers guy, so I would help predict what the other schools would do with their sales and pricing. Spreadsheets are amazing. I was able to get most of my referrals by referencing what I could do for them by making macros. Thanks to that our team took 1st place.
Here's a small giveaway.
