Before I even start this one, I have to mention that this is my favourite one so far! I just love the colour in it, and the way the salamander seems to be emerging from a field of cotton (or some similar plant). Lovely painting!:)

I remember that incident where someone leaked the link to a giveaway to GTA V (I think that was the game) in the thread about it. I had solved the puzzle legitimately (the giveaway number was posted in his/her Avatar), but I refused to enter because of that happening.
It definitely put a damper on the whole thing.

Yeah :( That's why I don't do private high value games, I've had people I thought were honest/kind, cheat their way into my puzzles. Not fun.

I've seen a couple of free game keys offered in someone's WL giveaway be NINJA'D without so much as a thanks! You're on that person's WL and you can't even be bothered to thank them for giving you a free game? Talk about ingratitude! grumble
For me, if I can't get the answer to a puzzle (for an ITH puzzle, for example), I just end up missing out on the giveaway. I would rather miss out on it than enter one that I didn't earn my way into. Of course, I sometimes ask for the answer from the giveaway creator after the event/puzzle/giveaway is over, just to see if I was even close to the answer.
And sorry to hear that someone would do that to you. They don't seem to be very much of a friend when that occurs. :(
