There is no help. It's luck, that's all it is. If you enter a giveaway with 100 entries, you have 1/100 chance to win. A giveaway with 500 entries, 1/500 chance to win. Giveaway with two copies and 1000 entries, 1/500 chance to win. It's just luck.

But 2/1000 is the same as 1/500, which is the mathematical equation in question (two chances to win over 1000 entries, as compared to one chance to win with 500 entries...).

if one person cant win both copies then it is slightly higher than 1/500.it is 1/1000 + 1/999 , since 1st game can be given to 1000 people and second to 999.

I've entered 224, and I haven't gotten anything either. It's all pure chance. All you can do is hope and/or contribute. The offers with higher contribution amounts usually have less people in it, which means more of a chance for you to win.

It's theoretically possible. After all, the chances are astronomically low, but one could win every single drawing they enter. One could also enter 1,000,000 and never win. People need to understand that the results for previous entries have no bearing on the next one. If you flip a coin 12 times and get heads 12 times, that does not make the odds for tails on the 13th any greater than 1/2.

Nope, estimated wins are the averagegiven his entries. There is only like 30% chance(or something like that don't recall the exact number) of him being it, the remaining are evenly divided between winning more and winning less.
