Performance: You can run games at the native res (3200x1800) on Ultra but you don't hit that 30 fps mark in Witcher 3 however in BF4 you can that's why I basically play on high settings but one cool thing about it is that you can stream at 4K (on Ultra and because my main rig has two 980's in SLI and both are overclocked I get about 50 FPS while streaming Witcher 3 so it serves as a good companion to my main rig but on its own it can still run many demanding games at the native res on high/ultra settings just don't expect to get 40-60 fps all the time
Price Wise- There are many other gaming laptops available for the same price but there are too many drawbacks MSI gaming laptops are good but their fans are too loud if you playing in your living room and someone is watching the TV they wouldn't be able to hear what's being said at all, Asus is also good but if you want a 4k gaming laptop they have paired it up with 860M which has trouble keeping up with everything you can't even watch a YouTube video without it stuttering it has the same problem the Lenovo Y50 suffers from, If you are on a budget the BEST alternative is the Alienware 15 ,but it is thick and weighs more
Energy Consumption - Battery life I am pretty satisfied with it I have tested this agaisnt MSI dominator notebook and Asus gaming laptops and it's about what you'd normally expect out of a gaming laptop 4 Hours
