I need your help!

HI everyone,

I want to do an experiment which consists of this friendly community.

I created a site for reviewing things like movies, tv shows and video games, because this is a test i'm just going to do video games. Except i'm not going to be the one writing the review. My idea was that I would take your comments about the game and mash almost all the comments I get for the game I chose to create a delicious review on the game. The thing about this idea is that instead of having to read individual comments about the game and some repeat why not have something all in one place where it's reviewed and edited, and the reason why this idea is great is because you are getting not only one persons opinion but an entire communities opinion.

So I need your guys help in order to make this idea into a reality, so expect some immense changes to the site these couple of weeks. Just incase you can't find the place you can comment or submit your review it's under the tab called video games and select the tab that says "game of the week"

even though I´m a bit confused about how you´re planning to put a lot of comments together in a review, seems like fun so I´ll give it a try.

What if you get conflicting reports? e.g. Kid Icarus Uprising was bashed for terrible controls, and some will never get used to it while others find it amazing and perfect for controlling Pit. Or technical issues, like with Far Cry 3. It'll be hard to "review", even after reading others' opinions, without having played the game yourself.

I admit, there's more than enough sites/communities, but this community was the first that came to my mind, because they are also active on SG.

Weebly is not bad, but I don't think it fits with this site. A self-host Wordpress site with bunch of plugins would be better.

Two main problems:

B. Since you will use most but not all comments, you can put whatever spin you want onto this review and cloak it in the guise of the "voice of the community" rather than taking responsibility for it yourself.

  1. I feel like you are seeking to profit in some way (whether it is for your academic or business career, I am not sure) from others' intellectual output.

%. Weebly is an inferior hosting option.
