So... since they came out I've always wanted an SNES. Now, in my late 20's, I've had a revelation similar to that bacon one. Just bought my first SNES off of ebay! w00t!! :p

I'm planning on getting the basics: Marios, Donkey Kongs, Zelda, FFII&III, Lufia1&2. What else should I get?

(I'm in the US.)

Actraiser looks great! Totally going to get the original Chrono Trigger (I have the DS version). I played a translated rom of Seiken Densetsu 3 back in college... totally need to get Secret of Mana. :P

Thanks!

Let me see how many I can remember off the top of my head. I am bound to miss a few, unfortunately. Take note, I am primarily a Rpg gamer.

Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Eathbound, Secret of the Stars, Breath of Fire 1/2 (Surprised nobody mentioned this), Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia/Time (Depending on location), Inindo: Way of the Ninja (Fairly unique game, imo. Plus you get to be a ninja), Shadowrun (Cyberpunk greatness), Uncharted Water 2: New Horizon (Fun RPG with several character story lines you can go through), Super Mario RPG, Robotrek, Soul Blazer, Paladin's Quest (Unique art style and team member recruitment, but overall fun game), Harvest Moon(If you don't mind an RPG Farming Sim.), and Lagoon (If you like games with more of a Ys feel to them)

So yea, those are all the ones I like/think of without diving into translated games. Hopefully you find some you like. Also Kudos on current selection, especially the Lufia games, I love the first two.

I'll suggest what have not been said already: Kirby Super Star. It's an amazing side-scroller <3

A game that I really liked when I was a kid, was something called "Super Smash T.V.". It was a pretty good 2 player game that is similar to Crimsonland, if you've ever played that.
I didn't see anything in the rules about linking to outside sites, so here's a youtube video of some of the gameplay.

Tales of Phantasia and Tactics Ogre Let us Cling Together. Of course they are not in English unless you patch them and I don't know how to do that to an actual disk.

Snes didn't use discs, it used cartridges. :P As for how, you would need to buy a special flash cart for the snes. I know of a few companies that make them and they cost around $100, which is including the memory and usb for it.
