Thanks for the heads up.
I used the web link and no credit card was requested.

That's why I always save the QR code you're shown when adding the account to the 2FA app in a secure location :/
In case you need to recover the 2FA token, you just have to scan the QR code again.
Some sites give you the option to generate a limited amount of "One Time Passwords" that you can use if you lose the 2FA access, it's usually recommended to print and keep those in a secure location.

When you enabled 2FA, you received like 6 or so 1-time codes you needed to print out or store somewhere, you could have used those or one of them to log-in again and disable 2FA. If you don't have these, support is your only option.

Happened to me once. I just messaged their support on FB and it was fixed the same day. I was pleasantly surprised.

My interpretation of her comment goes the other direction, in that permanently free games are the unusual ones.
That makes sense, actually, since Ubisoft typically only offers demos through their permanently free section [which, due to being demos, could have had their own special circumstance as far as their configuration]. It could be that Rabbids was initially configured like normal game purchases but at $0 value, and then they changed the structure afterward, hence why early comments in this thread indicated a need for credit cards while later comments did not.
Temporarily free games, on the other hand, likely already used a special configuration which bypassed the standard purchase system, hence why we haven't seen this pop up until now (as, again, permanently free games aren't something Uplay normally does). Well, it's just a hypothesis. ^.^

Sweet find, thanks. Always tell myself I’ll learn to code some but never take much action to do so. Let’s see if this can keep my attention for a bit :)

It's permanently free-to-play, so this should actually be in the "General" subforum rather than the "Deals" subforum.
Also, (going off of all previews I could find) this product appears to rather firmly be based in very basic robotics scripting rather than any form of coding, which makes me rather curious about internal Ubisoft development, that they would make such an association.
Hopefully the product more properly explores concepts shared with coding later in, and the previews simply don't properly cover that, but the highlighted fundamentals expressed within the official announcement don't seem too promising in that regard, with the product apparently not ever doing more than very lightly touching on loops and conditionals, and never covering them to the extent that would take such basic robotic scripting concepts and make them more relevant to fundamental coding concepts (eg, complex loops, looped conditionals, etc).
[Obviously, while very basic within the framework of coding, these concepts do relate to coding as well; My point is that the game clearly isn't focused on developing coding concepts, insomuch as they differ in focus from robotics scripting. Rather, the focus is on developing concepts related to linking basic commands, which is purely the focus of entry-level robotics scripting.]
That said, given the target age group, it's a rather suitable educational topic, so the only real quirk is in the product's choice of naming. I'm wondering if their marketing department thought that the potentially higher recognizability (and, perhaps, appeal) of "coding" made up for how misleading the term is.
The point here being, this is rather suitable for the target age group, but this isn't actually oriented towards teaching coding skills (even if some of the shared concepts do help make progress towards such) and thus isn't really suitable for older individuals who are wanting to learn coding skills (unless they feel that their ability to grasp concepts related to the topic is such that they need to start off with elements targeted towards unambitious 2nd graders who have no prior experience in any associated field or with any kind of gamemaker program).
Of course, there's still the option to just play it as a basic puzzle game. ^.^

Found it through the search function in My Games list....
Should be because it's a permanently free app, and so it's technically already owned [and thereby listed under "My Games"].
Which is to say, I'm fairly sure temporarily free apps don't ever show up in that section, while permanently free ones always do.
In any case, I was able to search for the app with no issue, so not sure what's up with it not coming up for you.

Go to the Free Game Section of your UPlay Launcher and add the game to your library. As I haven't known this game before - here is the trailer:

You can also add the game through the Ubisoft store but you will need a credit card for this:
