No, it's not supposed to make sense, why?

No, it isn't a cipher of any kind, don't waste your time with xlate and so on.

Yes, the giveaway is really shitty, it's Infestation: Survivor Stories, FFS.

Yes, it is not worth it.

TBH the hint won't help you much %)

As of the words: well, you get themselves a bunch of "the"s, "one"s, "of"s and other prepositions and numbers, some of them not in their places, but you didn't get any nouns correct, for what it's worth.

Oh, and don't mind capital F, I just left it as per one of the sources. I'm not sure why author capitalized the word, but formatting of that source should likely be considered canonical in this case, I guess.

the formatting of the answer is the same as in the question, i.e. you should put first letters of each word with dots (or without dots actually, I put a lot of formatting options into the answer). For example if the missing line was "I love really thin pancakes", the answer would be "I. l. r. t. p.".
