Uh, I would strongly advise against this. Unless I'm very much mistaken, this is not a legal copy of the game. There was something funky with the release of the game where they failed to include Steam codes, and instead somehow used the disc to register it to your Steam account. Using this will register an illegitimate copy of the game to your Steam account, possibly putting your entire account at risk.

I think so, anyway. I'm finding conflicting information on how exactly 2K9 activation worked, but everyone seems to agree that it was somehow screwy. Even if not, at best, it's a pirated game.

Well, i already connected to it to my account, but i'm not downloading it, or palying it, hope i won't get banned orr anything like that......
