What is the best game you have ever bought?

Town of Salem, the free to play browser game that I bought on steam, lol

But for real, there's a lot of games to pick from.

This year Wolfenstein TNO or Pillars of Eternity

Fallout: New Vegas, Remember Me, To the Moon, Ground Control 1, Deus Ex 1 (lost count how many times)…

Hollywood Pictures, a friend gave it to me on disks, played it since 1995 and bought it two years ago. :-)

Definitely Barbie: Dreamhouse Party.
The graphics are perfect.
The story is soooo emotional, I even cried 7 times.
There's a big variation of gameplay, it mixes different kind of genres together.
Also the voice-acting is soo good!!!!! :D
There's a big customization within clothes, shoes, barbies etc...
It has a female main character, what many boys like.
You can collect pictures of everything!
You maybe can't see the game in my library, but I've hidden it to prevent any hackers getting jealous at me and hack into my account.
A must buy!

Counter-Strike : Global Offensive. Spent 160+ hrs on it. Awesome game :D

and tho there are many - many good ones since then that i got, those where the foundation to my gaming hobbies so they have a special spot in me for them :-D

i dont have the best but one of the best is definitely Mount and Blade: Warband
others are Planscape Torment, Baldru's Gate, Pillars of Eternity; Divinity Original Sin, Europa Universalis 4 and the list goes on

Best: Dungeon Keeper physical box i spent uncountable hours on this and it was a hellish good ride :)
Second Best: Master of Orion 2 .... what a game :))
3rd Best: StarTrek: a final Unity... an experience like little else

Worst: Spent full price on Galactic Civilizations II (physical box) from Stardock. Appraised 4x title but then came as a pretty lukewarm to me. Boring tech tree, unimpressive species and a legion of bugs. Which made the comparison with genre king MoO2 (back then but still is among the very top). Also appraised for its notion to ship without disc-based copy protection, the much needed first patch which fixed critical flaws introduced stardock drm into the game. I never installed the patch and deinstalled the game. Didn't payed full price for a game since then until Witcher3* came out. And that was like a decade later.

It's always hard to name the best, as it depends on what I'm into at that specific moment. But the Total War series is great and are among the best games I've ever bought. GTA V and GTA SA are on the list as well. Oblivion I've enjoyed for a very long time as well. And I enjoy the Assassin's Creed series as well.

And one that I don't really see as a game but more as a learning tool, but I'll list it anyway: Rocksmith 2014.

I haven't bought that many games, most of them I've won or were gifted to me.

I'd say Just Cause 2, my first game on Steam. I mean, I've played at least 50 hours of the demo, before purchasing the full version and playing another 300 hours, plus the multiplayer which adds 50 more hours. That's around 400 hours of mad fun.

In terms of most hours that would be Guild Wars 2. I have over 6000 hours on that :x

Civilization I and Civilization IV
Quake, 15 years ago with all these mods and maps and online games like the original Team Fortress.

Final Fantasy VII on the Playstation 1. Second best was easily Final Fantasy Tactics XD
