Lumia 800 vs Galaxy W vs Galaxy S Duos

I know these are not the best phones out there but since I can get one of these for free why not.

So which one of these are the best Lumia 800 an Galaxy w has the same specs but Galaxy S Duos has more ram but a lower clocked cpu and it has Android 4.0 update compered to Galaxy W Android 2.3 and there are no new updates for it.

If you aren't already aware of the phones, you probably shouldn't be making recommendations based of spec sheets.

Being in the phone business, explaining the specs along with the key features of each phone helps customers make comfortable and informed decisions. This practice has led to many returning customers and referrals.

I worked for Nextel before it was bought out and merged into Sprint. I do certainly agree with what you've said, but in this situation it seems as though Archilion doesn't know the phones and is requesting the spec sheet in order to make his recommendation. Where as in your example, you should already have knowledge about the phones and would be using the spec sheet to back up your recommendation.

I would say wait for a few days and get the Lumia 820, much better than the Lumia 800. Otherwise, Lumia 800 is still pretty awesome !

It's really hard to choose between Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy W for me... Meh, just go get the Lumia 800! :P

Take Duos only if you need two slots for SIM cards. If you want Lumia and if I were you I would wait for new phones with Windows 8. Also there are many better Android phones in price of Nokia than Galaxy W (Galaxy Ace2 or S Advance for example).

I have Ace2 and I'm quite satisfied. Specially after using for two years i5700, which is brick, not a phone :D. My new Galaxy had best price/quality ratio from phones I could choose from :). But if you want to play some newer games it could have not enough memory space to install it - than go for S Advance. It's almost the same phone but with 2x more memory.

However both are not easy to root yet.

Galaxy hands down. Windows isn't on par with Android devices just yet.
