I'm not OP. Skyrim isn't cheap title though. It's still recent AAA production and it costs a lot compared to some older or indie titles.

Go now to gog and get Fallout 1 and 2 for just $2,99. Don't have to think about that. You won't find much better roleplaying than those 2...

I wouldn't exactly call Skyrim cheap, but you should be able to pick up one of the older Elder Scrolls games for less? They're still awesome.

Try Oblivion then. Although I didn't like that "monster level at the same rate as you" thing.

I leveled my running and acrobatics really high the first time I played becuase my mate told me I could run on water then. Did. Not. End. Well.

Jumping on supercharged enemies mario style does not work fyi.

seconding dungeons of dredmor. it's a roguelike with optional permadeath and plenty of humor, but doesn't really have much plot. not like this game needs plot though, it's amazing as it is.

witcher has great, dark plot but combat has many flaws. give it a spin if you can find it cheap somewhere though. (gog has it reasonably priced)

I was going to say Dragons Dogma but its not cheap neither for pc.

You can try Fable The Lost Chapters and Legend of Grimrock(I actually have a -75% coupon if you want that one). Dungeons of Dredmor (never played neither Dungeons neither Legend but I've heard that they are good)

Fable is awesome

There's a title many people forget about when talking about RPGs and it is Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. It's Source game by Troika and while it's quite bugged in its original state, community patches deal with the issues almost flawlessly. The game is loosely based on tabletop pen&paper rpg and is what you'd expect from it: vampires, clan wars, betrayal, hiding from humans, various useful skills, ghoul servants, multiple bad choices, and really, really crazy characters. Definitely grab it when it's on sale.

Seconding this man who knows his RPGs.

Playing a Malk was oh so much fun.

Another option would be the Baldur's Gate series, just make sure to install either BGT or Tutu to either combine the 2 games into one game(BGT) or just play 1in 2s engine, meaning class kits and such (Tutu, BGT gets the same features.)

Oh or Morrowind if you install MGSO, the Morrowind Graphics And Sound Overhaul.

Dragon Age: Origins, considering that you already have some Bioware games on your list. It's pretty good, got some Similarities to Kotor in how the ui and gameplay are constructed. Not cheap though =/
