Best anime to watch?

as far as the ones ive personally watched, Samurai champloo/Cowboy Bepop and Attack on titan were great. As far as what ive heard,Death note is fantastic

Well if you haven't watched stuff like Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop or Akira, that's of course a must. Others I enjoyed are Ergo Proxy, FLCL, Eureka 7 (series, not movie), Planetes or RahXephon. Metropolis (2001 movie) is great too. Oh, and if you want to be wierded/creeped/scared as shit you should watch Serial Experiments Lain.

I wish I could find a copy of Bleach that has the recaps and next episode teasers removed. That's a pet peeve of mine. I don't want to see a 5 minute recap of the episode I literally just watched.

I didn't see anyone mention Claymore, so I'll add that to the list, if you like fighting/action animes with a pretty decent story line.
