I already wrote to steam and reported your account as SCAMed so they blocked it and forced the SCAMer to logout so I hope you won't lose anything.

You were sending to all friend the typical:

"Hey, bro! get a free random game (GTA V, PUBG, CSGO and more) on blablabla only for new users, full legit and no deposit
1 free game for new users! take the game you want! blablabla"

I think that when most people see FREE GAMES they don't see that it is a scam so they put in their login and password.

Yeah that makes Steam force logout from Steam that also made him logout from SG. I hope he will get his account back and that his SG GAs keys were not stolen.

I went ahead and locked his account, for now. Once he regains control of his Steam account, he should contact us to get his SG account back.

Is it just me or do all the stolen accounts have one thing in common? They load up CS:GO and leave it with no playtime. Has anyone else noticed this?

Probably bot checking for some skins worth something.

They check CS:GO which has loot crates in order to see if you have items that worth money, they then trade said items to some other account, that's why locking your account is so important if you have an issue (and why I'm making a video to explain how to lock your account since most website which warn you about those scams don't explain it)

Scam is not an acronym, no need to write it in uppercase. bump I guess?

Yay back on Steam & Steamgifts, feel much better now :D
Hope nobody else got in trouble cause of this, not want to see it happen to anyone!
And thanks so much everyone for checking up on me, and posting it here on Steamgifts, you guys did a great job and it helped a lot :)
Keep your eyes open, main thing I learned is not to enter your steam info on 3rd party sites!
Have a good time everyone & stay safe!
Extra thanks to Zarddin, Fizfix & mod Khalaq ;)

It's not a scam nor a hack, they are Phishing.

Hacking is using exploits to gain access to something you do not normally have access to.

Phishing is masquerading as a trustworthy source in an attempt to bait a user to surrender sensitive information such as a username, password, credit card number, etc.
Saying Hacking when it's Phishing is like saying I'll download this program offline on my computer later. (Meaning installing a program to use).

social engineering is generally considered part of hacking, also tricking someone into thinking you're trustworthy so you can steal from them is like the definition of a scam
