I only played a few Android games... But I really liked:

  1. Anomaly: Warzone Earth (but this kind of requires full attention)
  2. King Oddball (also requires attention, but in very short bursts)
  3. Joining Hands 2 (puzzle make-me-feel-happy game)
  4. 10000000 (also requires full attention)

But I must say, I played them on a Nexus 10 tablet -- not sure how they would fare on a smaller screen.

Cheers!

I really liked joining hands, though it erased my save three times and I gave up. Joining hands 2 gets on my nerves with it's stupid tutorials.

What about Frozen Synapse? I don't have an Android, so I can't tell exactly, but you will most certainly only need a finger, you don't need reflexes and it has a very long and solid singleplayer campaign (plus botmatch generator).

Spelltower - fun and simple word game

Time Surfer - never gets boring, good arcady game for short sessions

Clash Of Heroes - straight PC port, lots of fun

Autumn Dynasty - decent RTS, great graphics, lots of depth, intuitive controls

Gemini Rue - point&click, good plot and amazing atmosphere

heroes call, if by dualstick you mean 2 crappy circles on the screen(like in fps games) one to move and one to attack and other stuff then NO, you click on screen where you want to move or on a monster to attack, simple as that you can do this with 1 finger :D you can do everything with 1 finger its like diablo :D

I really enjoyed Quell Memento, Ending, and Splice. Three great puzzle games without complicated controls and all the time you want to make your next move.

Have you tried Dungeon Village? It's pretty fun.

It was made by Kairosoft; they've also made Game Dev Story (not to be confused with Game Dev Tycoon), which is a fairly popular phone game.

You should check 'em out if you haven't. Especially Dungeon Village, since you're into city-building.

It's like a trial version. You can't play for too long. I think it's 2 years of in-game time of free play.

That's not a lot of time. I'm in year 14, and and the game ends in year 16 if I'm remembering well. I'm pretty much done, but I could start from scratch again and it'd be fun I suppose. It's worth the money, but I don't know your financial situation, so you should really consider if it's worth buying it or not.

Haven't done a lot of android gaming to be honest. Zenonia is by far the best game I've played, but even that can get tiresome. Not good for playing around like you want, though. (Watching videos, etc, It can get pretty hard!)

I like Nova 3 and SuperN64 (an N64 emulator) and DraStic (a nintendo DS emulator), also GTA San Andreas

+1 for SuperN64 and DraStic, the only games I've tried with those that don't run perfectly are N64 ones that even PC emulators can't run properly (like Yoshi's Story)

I disagree. Beat Hazard has single stick mode, king of fighters only uses one stick+there is simple special moves option which makes pretty easy to pull of anything. I'm not sure why do you hate dualstick controls though.

DraStic (DS emulator) with Suujin Taisen Number Battles if you can get over the fact that it's Japanese (once you understand the game, the text is not even necessary). But it runs smooth, needs no buttons, only touch and your turns aren't limited by time.

The Sandbox - a pixel game consisting of elements, very casual, daily rewards
Simpsons Tapped Out - don't like the Simpsons too much but they hold some pretty fun events, Origin
Despicable Me Minion Rush / Sonic Dash - your average swipe left right up down runner
Dungeon Hunter 4 - hack n slash
Puzzles and Dragons - someone already mentioned but yes they have it in English and is fun so far, they start you off with quite a few cash shop stones to get some op dragons
