Need your help(again) for finding an old pc game-Found

(Again) I'm not the one searching for the game, but a friend of mine who's trying very hard to find out about it. any info can help.

the details about the game he's given:

I remember playing a quest of a policeman or detective,
investigating a murder of a woman.

I cant remember the year, but the graphics looks a bit like Police Quest 3. However, the game is NOT Blue Force.

The only (weird) thing I do remember is that at some point you die and go to heaven-
that scene is part of the game, and not the end of it.

I know there was one where you could go to Hell. Perhaps that is part of the same game, I'll get looking for the name. Wish me luck.

From what I understood from him, it's probably not one of Tex Murphy games, but I'll ask him about Martian Memorandum. thanks :)

Tex Murphy can die in Martian Memorandum but the game doesn't continue after that. At least that's how I remember it.

I think you mean Hopkins: FBI, I remember that abysmal part where you die and go to Purgatory to continue the game "groan".

EDIT: Although the whole "murdered woman" case was just a sub-plot if memory serves.

:O Richard Cobbett did a Crapshoot on this one? I must be blind for not noticing...

Give your friend the link tho, I found him to be right on all marks -- this game is awful (aside from the graphics, and that's only some of the time). :P
