Game seems great, but I usually buy games like this ~6 years after release at 90% discounts.

Coincidently I just bought BG1 & BG2 Enhanced Edition a few days ago.

Maybe later. I am interested, rpg was my bread and butter back in the late 90s early 2000s, but not in my budget for the near future.

I'm a sucker for well-written CRPGs (especially turn-based ones), so of course I'm going to play it. I've even won it on SG. I already have it. And, of course, my wi-fi adapter decided to semi-die yesterday. Well, it kinda works, but god forbid I try to download something with a speed faster than 3-4 MB/s, it loses connection almost immediately - and I have to wait until Saturday when a new one arrives. Still, all in all, I'm really excited :)

How does it connect to 1 and 2? Is it like a standalone story or does it continue from the previous game?

I'd love to, played Divinity 1-2, really amazing games and especially in co-op. And recently finished BG 1 and playing through 2 atm.

Never played 1 or 2, so would be stupid to start with 3 :p

Loved Divinity: Original Sin 1 + 2 so I'd really like to play it. I can wait a while though, $20 is my sweet spot for big games like this.

I love the first two games in the series (despite absolutely hating the Forgotten Realms) but this seemed too different and "overdone" for me to justify blowing 60 euros, not to mention 150 gb of data space on it. In a few years with a decent discount though, why not.

Never played the franchise before and the gameplay doesn't look all that appealing to me. However I've seen a lot of marketing for the characters and interactions with them, and from the roleplay standpoint it seems interesting. I'm thinking I might eventually try the game, but it'd need to be on decent discount for me to get it. Not a high priority, but a possibility.

I just love crpg. I will definitely play it. Someday :D. My backlog is huge. And still, there is the new Pathfinder to finish.

Of course I will. The main themes of the first two games still give me goosebumps, reminding me of all the great adventures.
