He's at least partially right though, that was part of the same promo. When you did all the tasks you didn't get a key, but instead a redeem code link for fanatical just like what others have gotten in the mail.

You should received an email if you have a Fanatical account with a special link dedicated to you ! If not, you're not eligible for this free key but I don't know what are the requirements ! :3

Sorry. I must have deleted the post as you were typing. I took a second look at the email. The links expired on Feb 15th so I deleted it to prevent anyone from wasting their time. Sorry I was not fast enough.
On the flipside. I had a mesg notification but since I had deleted the post I had no idea what it was for. Looks like it was for this.

Yeah, I saw. All good, though. If I happen to happen to come across one that isn't taken already then that's cool, if not then it's not a big deal either. ^^ For some reason, I don't think I've ever gotten an eMail from Fanatical other than the ones after I bought something. o.o Is it connected to the newsletter? Cause I'm not sure if I'm signed up to that but when I tried earlier it gave me an error message.

You know what's important that's missing from this thread? The title of the email. I didn't even realize I had this, until I searched for every email from Fanatical.
The title of the email is:
"Claim and share your free Steam keys"
and it comes from
newsletter@fanatical.com
Search for either of those and you might be surprised.

My mail's title was actually "Add a free game to your account", anyway just see the "from Fanatical" with a title like this you shouldn't miss it ! :p

Fanatical's members received a mail about it with the titles "Add a free game to your account" or "Claim and share your free Steam keys", you can claim your free Lethal League steam key on Fanatical
It seems you have to be "eligible" like says in the mail (see the screenshot under this), but dunno what are the requirements !
This link will expire on the 28th February at 11PM (GMT). Be quick to claim it.
