I've had subscription since Bundle Star and I've always received only newsletters. But back then I visited one of those code address (for example fanatical.com/en/redeem-code?code=e293593a-c613-4e7a-8ffd-f0fbd76840cd) and wrote my email (which I use for my fanatical account) down there in the box, clicked that button 'sign up' and received my lethal league code within one hour. I'm not sure why it worked.

It seems you have to be "eligible" like says in the mail (see the screenshot under this), but dunno what are the requirements !
