E. coli and salmonella happen all the time, maybe every year, and yet we still have not resolved this.

Your two points above will not help. E. Coli is an incredibly difficult bacteria to kill. Washing the lettuce won't help either kill it or get rid of it. The origin is also unimportant as the CDC doesn't know what farms are contaminated. As to your pesticide rant, pesticides MAY be bad for your body, but it's not deadly, and it's really bad for bacteria. The romaine lettuces that have been sprayed with pesticides are probably the safest ones. I'm not sure that what you're talking about when you say that lettuce can come from areas with nuclear waste. If so, that would be a HUGE health risk and I'm sure the CDC, FDA, and other government agencies would be looking into it. Europe, I'm sure, has similar agencies. Saying that lettuce is grown in radio-logically contaminated areas sounds made up m8. The one place where I'm aware of something like this happening is around the Fukushima reactor in Japan, where the farmers were not told that the topsoil was contaminated. This has, according to Japanese authorities, since been fixed - BECAUSE IT'S A HEALTH ISSUE. Governments don't really want people to eat contaminated food.

Yes I know, it was ironic.. with the current situation in EU and the rest.

Again? Screw it. I'm eating it anyway. Years ago, when the mad cow was going around, I ate beef kabobs at a Mediterranean restaurant and lived. I ate romaine last time and spinach as well.
As Nietzsche said- What does not kill me only makes me stronger.
Maybe one day I'll get lucky.... :P

Yeah, I mean, the chances of getting it are still fairly low, so it comes down to your own risk tolerance. Personally, I tend to just stay away from one of the more dangerous foods at that time since nothing will happen to me if I don't eat it. That goes for any outbreak.
Also, the "Whatever doesn't kill me, only serves to make me stronger" quote referred to knowledge, as far as I'm aware.
So, physically you'll still suffer through it and permanently weaken yourself. It's just that then you'll realize to not do it again and be more careful :D

Expecting CDC to alert the population about a zombie outbreak, but we get a lettuce outbreak instead.

"Don't buy Lettuge that come from Drugs Mexico Farm that we IMPORT from USA because is CHEAP and then you get SICK because we here DON'T have roman lettuge because we are not in italy not in rome and we import it FAKE from Mexico drugs farm terrain"
I mean, first of all, you've posted this twice now.
Also, it's ROMAINE lettuce. Other languages might call it what could be translated into "Roman lettuce", but the fact is that it has nothing to do with Rome other than the name and that it's used in Caesar's Salad. Being grown in Rome makes it just as authentic as growing it anywhere else. In fact, they used to associate the lettuce with the Ancient Egyptian god of fertility because it looked like a massive throbbing godly cock that pierced through the wet soil like a piece of shit from a sweaty asshole.
The fact is that your point means little. It's possible it's from the drugs. But guess what's more likely? Lack of hygiene, shoddy irrigation and good old fertilizer. If you look into previous outbreaks similar to this, it would lead people more towards the idea that it's the fertilizer since, well, duh.
You might be right. But the chances of it are extremely unlikely compared to literally every other possibility.

if they say this because of Caesar eat salad so is ok,because problem microbs can happen all country because is same you say about hygiene or waste problems etc. , problem is before i think they say lettuge come from rome is bad and if that is lie coz i eat all day never get that sick, but if they say because of origin name so is ok , so i delete my reply coz i mistunderstand.

If you are a resident of the US or Canada, PAY ATTENTION! (unless you have already heard of this, in which case, sorry. 😉) You and those you are close to do not need to get seriously sick when reading this could prevent a health issue before it happens.
Basically, read this article here for a basic understanding of the situation: https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-canadian-us-public-health-officials-warn-against-eating-romaine/, but note the following wording:
From the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention):
“Consumers who have any type of romaine lettuce in their home should not eat it and should throw it away, even if some of it was eaten and no one has gotten sick.”
The Washington Post says, "Restaurants should not serve it, stores should not sell it, and people should not buy it, no matter where or when the lettuce was grown. It doesn’t matter if it is chopped, whole head or part of a mix."
The warning in more detail (quoted from the CDC website):
