I played Mario Kart in Super Nintendo, Game Cube and Wii, but since I bought a Gaming PC I can't just throw 270€ on a console with Mario Kart 8 included, I will need extra controllers to play with friends and also other games cost 50-55€, when on PC I can buy lots of games for that price.
