Too lazy to even take out a little text to post it here?

If you want to have lazy information accessible in OP thread then you could copy something yourself.

We have discussions where OP post is just youtube link, without even writing to which song it leads. Or link to the giveaway.

If user wants they can follow link and access information. Not to mention OP created poll, so it's the same as start of discussion.

No, first i am too lazy for that too (it isn't my job), second this isn't my topic.
It's dual sense, must be something really revolutionary right? Why not post something what that new thing might be.

And those threads are generally welcomed also?
If we all would just post threads with just a link and nother else it's gonna be a pretty boring click through forum, wouldn't it?

Because people want to read text about new controller and not click on a link to see the actual look of it.

This is an actual, completely real, not-at-all-made-up exerpt from the article, and the only thing you need to know about the DualSense:

"So, like, we took a lot of drugs when we made this, and didn't really review things, and we had like, a lot of leftover parts from both the white and black DualShock 4s, so we like, tweaked them and then were all like, wow, how can we refit these together so they invoke Lovecraftian vibes. And then we, like, did that, y'know? Duuuuude."

Ugh, okay, fine. Also these, I guess:

We had a great opportunity with PS5 to innovate by offering game creators the ability to explore how they can heighten that feeling of immersion through our new controller. This is why we adopted haptic feedback, which adds a variety of powerful sensations youโ€™ll feel when you play, such as the slow grittiness of driving a car through mud. We also incorporated adaptive triggers into the L2 and R2 buttons of DualSense so you can truly feel the tension of your actions, like when drawing a bow to shoot an arrow.

In the end, we changed the angle of the hand triggers and also made some subtle updates to the grip

DualSense also adds a built-in microphone array, which will enable players to easily chat with friends without a headset โ€“ ideal for jumping into a quick conversation.

I think those were the only significant changes noted in the article
(ie, things more notable than "tweaked the light bar" and "changed the Share button to the Create button").

It looks... more like Xbox controller now. Guess it will be bigger as well. It would mean that SONY decided to go after people that complained DualShock is too small.

DualSense has been tested by a wide range of gamers with a variety of hand sizes, in order for us to achieve the comfort level we wanted, with great ergonomics.

I haven't used DualShock since its PS2 days, so forgot how they compare in size. Dpad looks pretty comfy compared to Xbox controller. I mean it is excellent if you want to use it as another set of buttons, but if you want to play with it instead of analog stick then the situation changes, at least for me.

It looks... more like a Frankenstein's Monster-like abomination of poorly pieced together parts and nightmarish aesthetics

Fixed! ๐Ÿ™„

..No, seriously; If that isn't the ugliest controller I've ever seen, it's certainly in the top 5.

In fact, the title of this article sums up my thoughts best:

Looks almost exactly like the PS4 controller. I don't really care for PS controllers to be honest. The D-pad is always bad, the triggers have been awful since PS3. On the other hand the new sticks since PS4 were an improvement, whereas before on PS1-3 they were just trash. And I've been playing on PC with a DualShock 3 for years, so I know what I'm talking about. Guess what gave up first, when I had to replace it... yes, the analog sticks.

I've used a lot of different controllers, and the analog sticks are always the first thing that start misbehaving, it's not just PS that have this issue.

these companies should make it easier to open the controllers. Problem solved
My ds4 right stick feels much looser than it did originally. in this cases replacement sticks are cheap.fixing it yourself however...

You might be right, however, other controllers, even really cheap Logitech ones, outlived my PlayStation controllers at least twice as long. Also, I could fix many controllers myself, when you open up the PS controller, it basically disassembles itself into tiny pieces, except the analog stick, which is in some kind of blackbox.

The triggers on the PS3 controller were terrible. The ends of the triggers didn't have an upward curve on them to support your fingers and prevent fatigue. They actually curved down a bit. I had to buy 3rd party trigger attachments for my PS3 controller because my fingers would get tired from pressing the triggers for even a few mins.

Looking at the picture the PS5 trigger seems to extend straight out and then has a slight upward curve at the end but it doesn't look like it's enough support. I can't believe that Sony hasn't heard complaints about their flawed trigger designs yet. There have been 3rd party trigger attachments for PS3 and PS4 controllers. The fact that trigger attachments exist should tell them people aren't happy with the original design.

The only reason I use PS controllers instead of Xbox is because I have smaller hands and Xbox controllers are less comfortable to hold. I wish they would make controllers in varying sizes instead of a one size fits all.

Looks fine but I wish it was all black. Somehow it looks too much like a bikini with this design.

Cool, I'll just stick to the ps4 controller until PS6 comes out. It doesn't seem too different anyways, the ps4 triggers look a bit better to pull with too. What's with the trend of making things all round? I would argue against the two-tone but I've always ended up buying my PS3+4 controllers in all black and I can't imagine them not having a black color option. It would be not as great if you wanted an all white controller or other color however.
