Problem with Painkiller

Hi, i have in my steam library installed Painkiller Black , and it's recognized by this site as Painkiller hell and damnation...so i cannot enter in any PAinkiller H&D giveaways...any help?

Black is not recognized as H&D. You synced your SG account with Steam account during the H&D free weekend and that's why you can't enter giveaways for it.

i sync nothing...why Site doensnt recognize my painkiller BE?? it exist in my library, but not H&D, taht i never owned it

Painkiller black is bugged in that it doesn't show you own it. The Painkiller Hell and Damnation is from the free weekend. If you play during the free weekend, Steam considers you as owning the game for the next 2 weeks until it drops off your Recently played list

Even if you don't play it and sync your SG account with Steam account it still considers you having this game. Because during free weekend it's added to your library whether you like it or not.

Yes, during the free weekend it considers you as owning it but if you don't play it, you can enter giveaways for it after the free weekend is over and the game is removed from your library.

I'm able to enter a giveaway for Painkiller H&D without a problem. Could also be SG has not synced my account since the free weekend started. I don't really like Steam doing that to begin with. If I wanted a game I'd buy it if I had the money but forcing games like that is just wrong imo.

It's far from wrong! Try, like it, buy, don't like it, don't buy.

FYI, I wasn't considering buying it before the free weekend, it doesn't have a demo, and I was too lazy to pirate it and risk my system to all kinds of crappy cracks. Plus, it's built on Unreal, watching youtube videos doesn't really help, you need to test these kind of games on your setup before buying...

Enter the store page. Does it say that you own the game? It doesn't on my account and I do own it. I have it in my library. Same thing with it on SG. It doesn't recognize PK: Black Edition on my Steam account. I could enter giveaways for it.

Yeah, it's apparently a long standing issue with the game. I have a lot of friends, but only one friend shows up on the store page as having it, and only one friend shows up as having it in his wishlist. I don't even have the green banner for owning it on the store page as I normally do for other games I own (despite it being in my library).
