I'd take Gene Kelly's groove over any of the so-called groovers peddling the tired, tedious shuffling and stamping we (mostly) get nowadays; ain't no groove like the old school groove...
I always find it especially striking in routines like these, when he's standing next to someone like Donald O'Connor, who was obviously a very talented guy generally, an extremely gifted dancer, and doing all the same steps - and yet you can't tear your eyes off Gene. Pure charisma in dance form - aka, wanton groove

8 month old thread. but i see ur still taking in groove so i decided to have fun with it, took me some time to figure out the name since i was googling key words :sega: :beach: :rollerblade:
eventually i found it, it was actually skating, in california, Sega Genesis : California Games
me and my brother used to try "grooving" with it by making her spin to the beat , but that never lasted long, it was a hard game for us back then! so we just went on normally grooving to the beat while trying to dodge beachballs and cracks in the ground (and i think dogs come in part of it too)
