If this person breaking rules, you can show them "Rules/FAQ" link and move on. Don't get it, this behavior when someone need to announce about adding people in their blacklists.

I guess it has to do with the fact that (new) users don't bother reading the FAQ. There are many useless topics with questions that are answered in the FAQ.
I'm also an older gamer and I do think you're exaggerating a bit when you are comparing the "hate" you find here with the hate you'll find in an actual war.

This goes without saying. We all know that people can make up about they birthdays, age, names etc. etc. There is no truth on internet :)

it's not about age, it's how things seem to work on the internet. everywhere you go people are begging for free stuff, even for 1 card worth $0.03...
but i get your point of view, this place sometimes is pretty hostile, even considering some users break the rules (specially when people start jumping on the bandwagon and keep replying to a topic that could have been closed after 1 reply like "READ THE FAQ").

well, it's the OP fault most of the time - a lot of times he's being said that he's breaking the rules, that he should read FAQ, yet he keep replying to his own topic refusing to accept the fact he's breaking the rules or just keeps thread open instead of closing it. We cannot close the topic, on;ly OP and mods can. And there are only 3 mods, they cannot monitor discussions 24/7 ;)

Not just on the internet... the closest gas station to me I refuse to go to because every time I go at least ONE asshat is begging me for some money.
It's almost ALWAYS younger people, fully capable of doing something else, but I guess begging is their career of choice.

That's what I was going to do, as already a lot of people pointed the FAQ and probably reported the dude too, but instead will answer you.
Must be full of kids, because there are more users begging than people on my big and tourist city. And probably they are not precisely as poor as the others.

uzengija I agree with you. This "aggressive" attitude is unnecessary, you can just pinpoint out that what they are doing is against some rules or that you don't find it appropriate, but it can be done in a more polite way. We cannot possibly know what person is someone, if they are doing it with bad intentions or not, let's give them a chance to explain themselves also.
