I will answer this other way, I would like to see something like "steam connect" working in a similiar way as "gog connect", making possible to "copy" games from one platform to other, at the end - beside user would win this platform whose system (steam vs galaxy) - achievements/cards/updates and everything else is better, so there would be more good competition I guess?

There's a SEGA fantasy RTS called Hundred Swords that had a small release on PC, and was available on Dreamcast in Japan. I never got around to playing it when I had Dreamcast imports, but since they've already ported it to PC, they could just tweak it a bit to get it on Steam.
Sega has a fair amount of property they could use to make new games, or even just re-release the old ones.
