Not including anime

Mine would be Miraculous, Code Lyoko, Star vs the Forces of Evil, and Steven Universe, at the moment.

Ooh, I forgot about Futurama. It's been a while since I've seen it, but it is pretty good.

Rick and Morty is my most anticipated for new episodes cartoon. Star VS the forces of evil is second. Adventure time is probably third. Bravest warriors sadly is at the 4th spot because of how slow it gets made. I'm not sure if it counts as a cartoon but Reboot was amazing... I actually want to rewatch it sometime soon if I get the chance.

Haha. I get what you mean. When I initially gave the show a try I didn't think it would be awesome. I expected Barbie style problems and no plot. I was never happier to be wrong in my life.

About the renewal for 70 more episodes? :o I was so happy. Lol. I was getting worried with no news on its renewal. I've seen adult swim axe good shows just because before.... @.@

Have no idea of most you said, but I know Tintin! Read most(if not all) comics when I was a kid. The cartoons were cool too, but didn't see much of it. Among my childhood' favorites ^^

Haha yeah we are! But like Mark Twain said age is largely a question of mind over matter: if you don't mind, it doesn't matter ;) and really as long as you hang around with younguns, as we do, you don't feel old, right? (until they ask what Atari was or say their first computer was an I-Book and the bubble pops :P

Indeed! If one has a stong mind then age doesn't matter. ^^

Don't really watch often cartoons but I watched recently all of Rick and Morty which I really liked.
Saw asome random episodes of Star on TV and enjoyed it.
Stevens Universe looks great too and I wish Miracolous would have become an anime as it was planned.

Does Voltron: Legendary Defender count as anime or not ?
Original Voltron /GoLion was for sure, but reimagined version is written & designed in the USA by the folk that did Avatar: The last Airbender & Legend of Korra, and it's animated in Korea so it could instead be a donghua too...

Anyway, it is one of my favorites at the moment.

That, and Archer

Is that the new one on Netflix? I think that anime is specifically Japanese animation, so you're in the clear lol I had no idea that it was animated in Korea, that's cool

Yep. Legendary Defender is the new version that started about 2 years ago on Netflix. And it's a pretty good series even if you ignore the nostalgia factor.

I watched some Adventure Time, so I wanna continue that, and BoJack Horseman and Archer look fun too. :)

Samurai Jack and Megas XLR immediately spring to mind as being super mega awesome. (I haven't watched TV in almost a decade so I might be kinda outdated with what's "hip" at the moment. :P )

I was too young for the original Samurai Jack, but I do remember it being pretty neat.

I'd honestly recommend giving both of them a look even as an adult. Megas XLR is a great comedy/parody and I now realize just how many of the references in it flew over my head as a kid.
And Samurai Jack is just 100% awesome (and sometimes funny too). Plus they recently made a new season to finally conclude the story! :)

Nobody was too young for Samurai Jack, he destroys robots mostly. But il admit.... the pilot episode is HELLA gory, even if its just oil, and some blood... it was pretty neat, remember the Scotsman episodes, the wild west train episode, the....ugh... most any episode realy.

Im guessing that wasnt the case in your family saddly. This cartoon just came on and it ran for SO LONG, it was hard if not nigh impossible to miss. It would be a great time to visit this awesome series.

When I was a kid my favorite cartoon was Doraemon(I didn't know what was anime back then. they were all cartoons for me(and still are in a sense)).

Simpsons and Futurama are pretty funny. I like how the Simpsons is a satire to the american culture and stereotypes.
