It doesn't use servers, so you need to be friends with the person to open up an online world.

bought this one today, got a free gift copy also. Does this mean we can create a GA for it?
(I mean its a normal gift copy right?)

ok great thx for the answer
so its just a normal gift like always (because steam added some comment when you buy it, would have copied it but its in Dutch)

Also, I don't think there even is a rule against giving away things you got for free. The rule is against giving away things that have been free to the general public.
But say a dev gives you a copy or two. It's fine to set up a GA for those; people do it all the time even though they clearly got them free.

I think you are right :)
Its more like a sale because I did pay for it

I'd be curious to hear from people who have played: how is it? What's the gameplay like?
I played Minecraft enough to get rather bored of it, but the Lego version still has me curious. Is it pretty much the same thing just with Legos and a whole bunch more pieces? How does it differ from and improve on Minecraft?

Care to elaborate? (You needn't. I'm sure I can find reviews elsewhere. I'm just curious, and apparently you're pretty enthusiastic about it.)

Well, it's a totally different game, so one of the few comparison points would be the building of things, and I think you have more freedom and options in lego, while on minecraft you only have cubes to work with, and the only change between them is the color. Of course, everyone has preferences, but if you want to build things, you're better off with lego. Now having said this, the game is still in early access, so you can expect bugs and some performance issues, and they will probably refine a lot of things about the game later on, but I had a great experience so far.

I like how the moderators on there are ignoring how nasty some folks are being towards long time owners asking where their extra copy is in hopes they just shut up about it. Letting fanboys do your work for you is never a good idea :P

Yep. They're earning tons of negative reviews thanks to this. Hope it was worth it.

It's lego on steroids and it doesn't have survival/fighting stuff.

Most of the time they don't, but even when they do, it's not a fight, it's a beating. If you attack first they have no chance whatsoever.

Neats. imo the split-screen feature was already awesome, buts the online makes it more awesome. I boughts this game the first day it showed up on steam, Totally worth it IMO (=
Best Lego game on steam for sureee
Will also add that it is pretty graphic demanding. Atleast on the ultra settings, but it looks sooo pretty.
