I have disabled showing games that exists in my library. I sync my account way too often. And still, games that I own, happen to show up here. I even once won a game that I already had, lol (rerolled). Because I accidentally (didn't remember I already have this game) entered. Recently I enabled showing up existed games in ESGST script, so I know that if a game that I own is here, it'll show me the folder icon.

But the question is... how does this happen? Link to the Steam store is working correctly, so the game must be somehow linked to Steam. But yet so many games are visible even though they shouldn't. I won't even mention packages, but single games and DLC's are also showing up.

It's so annoying that every day I discover new 5 or more games that I own and have to filter them with eye option. Isn't there any way to make them really not showing up?

I often find this is what it is and simply choose to hide them manually so I won’t see them.

Wait, really... but how? I own some games like for ages and they still "learn" those games? Some of the games (and the one I won) was here since I registered on SG... even longer I guess.

Games that Steam is listed as still learning about aren't listed in your profile and as such SteamGifts does not know about it. Similarly, SteamGifts does not know about DLCs and packages as Steam's API does not list them in your profile. These are all limitations of Steam's API which SteamGifts cannot fix.

Well, so Steam is learning games even for years?

Perhaps they weren't popular? They require a threshold of purchases/reviews/whatever ever since they implemented it due to exploitation by some devs. They would asset flip something, or just make a basic crappy game, and then giveaway a ton of free copies and just make money from their cut of the market sales of the cards, emotes and backgrounds.
Without knowing what games you are having problems with I really cannot say what may have occurred. Could also be that Steam glitched when SG synced and your profile was synced as empty.

I don't really remember either. I would have to check my blocked games list. Okay... I have them... all of those with yellow icons. Some of them are DLC's, but not all. And those green icons are games with cards. Cards are not available when Steam is "learning" a game. DLC are purple. So...

Of those games, Aporia: Beyond The Valley, Homefront: The Revolution, The Land of Pain, Miscreated, Necromonads, Rolling Sun, Ryse: Son of Rome, Tick Tock Isle, UAYEB: The Dry Land - Episode 1, and Worms should've been blocked. Oniken: Unstoppable Edition may have issues, its what is listed on the store page but it lists it differently in your library, being only Oniken there. Of these games, I cannot see any have that been recently added to your ignore list, though I cannot see The Land of Pain through Tick Tock Isle.

Absconding Zatwor, Brilliant Bob, and The Lost Joystick have been removed from the Steam store and cannot be verified.

SharpShooter3D, Switchblade, and The Greater Good are still being learned.

Blades of Time - Limited Edition, Borderlands: Game of the Year, Grand Ages: Rome GOLD, Grey Goo Definitive Edition, Hacknet - Deluxe Edition, Life Is Strange Complete Season, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition, Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, and Two Worlds II: Velvet Edition are packaged games and as such cannot be verified either.

The rest are DLCs which also cannot be verified.

Wow, did You really analyze all of those games? Wow, thanks.
Also, I thought more of them were just standard edition.

I added The Land of Pain 7 months ago. The lost joystic 1 month and Tick Tock isle 2 years ago.

Another reason: These games may have been removed from the Steam store. if so, you can see only community page.

Maybe you own a special version of the game and so it still shows the normal version or whatever, can have different reasons.
The Steam is Learning thing came a few months ago so if it's games from years ago I would say either removed from the store or like I said a special version, DLCs is something Steamgifts can never detect, that has always been a problem.

I think Steam learning is the most logical... cause it's normal version shown on top, while super gold deluxe game of the centaur editions comes below.

Sometimes things like GOTY editions will not show as owned too. Only the base edition will show as owned, sometimes.

It might help if you told us what game(s) you're talking about. People could probably explain better for your specific case if they knew which games you were talking about.

There's also the fact that the Steam APIs are kind of rubbish and fail to report if you already own a game if the gift is for a "complete package" or such. Even if you own everything in that package.
Or just any DLC, Steam APIs don't show that you own those when you do either.
