It ends on 29th. Damn it. I am hoping for ds3 sale. So can't & won't buy anything unless I am sure when summer sale starts.

I backed RoR1 on its Kickstarter and I still love it. I really enjoyed DeadBolt. I usually don't buy much on Steam nowadays, I usually get bundles and go cleaning my backlog. RoR2 was an exception, and they even gave an extra copy in the first sale. RoR2 is nice, but you must know they sold the whole IP to GearBox and many people are upset. They released a DLC but the ones that were planned are on stand by right now, and GearBox will decide. The original developers are making their last game, called Risk of Rain Returns. RoRR will be similar to RoR1 but made ten years later, with many additions and changes.

I am personally not as upset as many people in RoR2's Discussions tab, but I can't say I am not sad because they sold their IP, which I heartbrokenly respect. I know I am in the minority in this case, but I expected to receive the splitscreen mode for RoR2, which is not coming. They told us they were going to make it and then they gave the famous excuse "Performance may get bad with more players". I understand that, but some of us have semi-powerful PCs and would like to give it a try, at least to see if it works properly. And yes, I know there is a beta branch that allows that (with the achievements disabled if I am correct) and I know NucleusCoop exists. But I would like to have a native local multiplayer mode like in RoR1 without having to use any workarounds.

the RoR saga is nice and special, but some people have decided to boycott it. I just want to inform you in case you want to look for some info before deciding.
