There was a guy who GiantBomb did an interview with that shares game concepts on his site, forgot its name. I think he actually got to work with some developers and got credited in some games since they've used his game concepts.

Edit: Found it

ideas are far from worthless. No point in getting the skills if you have nothing worth while to make. Companies go out of business because they have this attitude.

I'm still trying to sue Bioware for taking my shitty idea I was thinking about while taking a poop...and they stole it and made it the ending of Mass Effect 3.

In all seriousness, unless you are also a writer, developers rarely take ideas from gamers. There are some people with specific capability and resources to make game and also some original ideas can actually turn them into reality in form of an indie game.

Yes, and it basically was just Jagged Alliance meets Xcom and Civ.

I come up with a lot of good game ideas. All they need is a great execution and they'll be considered a shining example of a derivative game.

No, really, I'm sure that my game ideas are about as good as my story ideas. That is, they can be made into something that's competent but not brilliant, something that some people will enjoy (and many won't) but will not win any rewards. (Well, I imagine that my story ideas can be made into something brilliant if someone else wrote them, but that's not going to happen.) The main problem is that, unlike with stories, I'm sure I'll need help to create a decent game (for example, if my art can get with a lot of work to 3/10, my music will never pass 1/10).

But when I do create these games and have a gaming company of my own which will make millions (of crappy lines of code), I will look at your idea, and even agree to make it, then twist it into something its own mother (that's you) won't recognise. Because, you see, creating a game the way you envision it will just not be as much fun as creating a game of my own.

Cue the maniacal laughter.

Yeah, I've come up with a few. In high school I implemented one of them, I made a crappy game using custom desktop icons and modified pokemon sprites, where you're a dude at a party. You're trying to enjoy yourself, but people send you on various missions to retrieve beer and be their wingman, etc. In return you get keys which unlock doors to other areas, yada yada you get the idea. I would love to make something proper and a bit more polished out of that one day. I've had a bunch of other ideas in my time, but they're all big budget things I'd never be able to do on my own. Le sigh.

I had an idea about a fat man who is living in a world where the food is almost impossible to get.. at one moment he was hungry and "crafted" a sandwich..
However, the sandwich were stolen and his mission is to go and rescue the sandwich...

It can include DLC's. :D
Im gonna send this idea to EA..
