Most common reason of blacklisting
I generally only BL if I've noticed a fake giveaway (usually after it's confirmed by the "winner" that they received nothing) but I don't catch those often, so I voted for the "insult people" thing, although for me it's rather general toxicity towards a group of people who weren't spreading any sort of toxicity themselves. No use for starting negativity for no reason. I'm not familiar enough with telling bots/leechers apart from others (aside from using sgtools) so I generally leave my giveaways with a contributor req and that's that.

Technically, spamming the thanks comment repeatedly is my most common reason for blacklisting certain users, but my strongest ones is for someone who "wins" my giveaway but neither marks at "accepted" nor respond to my reminder for about five days.

The "5 days guys" are often autojoiners.
Of course only the ones that are online in steam and/or sg, multiple, times and still enter GAs in that time.
Mostly easy to spot when noting the entries and re-checking it a few days later -when still no reaction and answer came-.

I've been waiting on a guy for 2+ weeks. They're "on" multiple times a day; has entered like 150-200 giveaways in that time. Slightly frustrating, but I'm just gonna wait it out. As far as I'm concerned, I've done my bit.

After 1 week, write them on sg in a GA from him and direct after that do a support ticket for a reroll and delete the key from the template (if you made it available for him to see it), that he can't activate the game in the meantime till the support react.
And then wait till a mod reroll him.
I run behind a lot of guys in steam comments, sended friend requests if the comments were closed, wrote in multiple sg GAs of them (if they ever made a GA) etc.. At the end of the day, nearly, all this games have never reached a "good account", i never got a thanks for all the effort to deliver someone his win and in a bunch of cases i don't got a thanks for the win itself too.
It's a bad joke that the gifter need to run behind the winner that he please, please, please take his win.
So i changed my behavior in that cases to the absolute minimum.
Of course give it cases when i know the winner for a long time or when he is on my WL, that i try to contact on multiple ways and wait longer because i assume it give a real problem like accident, illness etc.. But this people "earned" this special "treatment" and i don't see it than as negative as i seen it with all the other accounts.
The other accounts are as exmaple the ones with 300 wins, never made a own GA in 5 years on the site, or 5 unactivated wins, listed on sgtools.info , but sadly already punished for it -with the softer rules from the past were all 5 unactivated wins was counted as ONE, and the next time someone got caught it got counted as TWO, not from interest if there were 1 or 30 new unactivated wins. Nowadays each unactivated win are ONE infraction, which means it give faster harder suspensions and faster a perma suspension-.

I've decided to take your advice, and take action. I've sent him a message from a previous giveaway. I'll give it a few days, and if he doesn't mark as received, I'll get support involved. I understand that most people can't be on here every day, but close to 3 weeks is just ridiculous. Thanks for your thoughts and time. :)
It's a bad joke that the gifter need to run behind the winner that he please, please, please take his win.
Yeah, it's incredible to me that people can be so brazenly unappreciative. Mark as received, say thanks, and move on with your life.

No blacklist here, it's pointless trying to filter out all the people that are supposedly harmful. Not my job to moderate the people who want to cheat with multiple accounts or just want to win games without giving away anything.
At end of the day, winning is just pure luck and if someone wins, they earned that right to keep the game and do anything with it: farm it for cards/achievements, collect it or even play it and love it everyday. The only thing I get annoyed about is the people who don't respond to any communication attempts/activate the key in 7 days and have to I have to roll a new winner: no BL though, honest mistakes happen and if they miss a chance to pick up a free game, then that's their problem.

The luck is heavy influenced when someone use more as one account or enter with a autojoiner 24/7 GAs without to need sleep breaks etc..
And that are, nearly, always the ones that make the "no activation for X days/weeks" problems -best example, look 2 comments above the one from InsideAfireball's-.

These are the only reasons I do it and as such I don't have a huge blacklist. I couldn't care less about ratios, we're here to give gifts to people who want them and that's it, if they play their wins I'm happy.

I sometimes see something like blacklist war - blacklisting everyone for everything with no reason, with stupid reason, with sensible reason.
For what you blacklist most often and for what you were (if you know about that).
It can be interesting in my opinion.
