I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.

Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.

Edit:

Here's a collage of all games I've beaten over the years on PC:

Beat The Maw about a week ago. Pretty short game but I loved it. Definitely worth trying for the giveaways or getting it on Amazon right now.

Almost beat Cave Story + last night but got destroyed by the final boss... likely because I didn't realize there was more hidden stuff and weapon upgrades. Still really fun game though.

Oh and right after beating Maw I did a quick run through of the first Puzzle Agent. Ok game but the story is cut short and continues in the 2nd one.

I've recently beaten left 4 dead 2's dark carnival campaign helping save the little garden gnome we named Bob from the zombie hordes. It was a funny quest and i didn't know there was an achievement for it until we safely got the little guy to the chopper. :)

Other than that i've played through first three titles of the Quest for Glory series with my character Baloney the thief, the prince of Shapeir and Hero of Spielburg.

The last I completed was Remember Me. Awesome game, deserved by far better reviews than those which received.

I've beaten Little Inferno and, if that doesn't count, Bioshock one right before. It was my first time and I really enjoyed the ride.

About to finish Dark Messiah Might and Magic and god lord, one of the best games i've ever played. I'm telling ya, it has a better combat system than most AAA games (Yes Skyrim, i'm talking to you).

The most recent PC game that I finished was Metro 2033. It took me forever just because of some computer issues I was having. I liked it. I'd give it a 8/10. It had an interesting story line although the game play was a bit wonky. The last game that I finished was Kid Icarus: Uprising. I'd give it a 9/10. Really fun, but extremely hard for lefties like myself.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (DS). This was my first Golden Sun game so I had no clue what to expect, and I was really impressed. If you don't know, it's pretty similar to Final Fantasy but the combat is generally too easy, though there are some post-game bosses that are loads of fun. I'd recommend it, solid 25-30 hours. I also recently beat DK64 because it's freaking awesome.

Currently playing: Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4 Continues right from the last minute of the previous installment, I'm really enjoying the story. I'm only about 45 minutes in so far, but I know it's going to be just as good if not better than 3! 8/10

Last game I beat: Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 - Hilarious story, classic turned based combat combined with the 16 bit graphics that bring out the kid in me. Great fun for a true gamer. 8/10

Both awesome games, I really regret not playing the first two before starting 3. I'll get them eventually though.

I'm also still racking up the hours in Don't Starve (Easily a 9/10 in my book), made by Klei, the same guys that made Mark of the Ninja as well as Shank, Shank 2 and Eets. Those guys are awesome!
