I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.

Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.

Edit:

Here's a collage of all games I've beaten over the years on PC:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

Here's a collage of games in which I've got all achievements (100%):

The Walking Dead (Telltale games) was a game I really enjoyed. If you like immerse storytelling and you at least don't mind killing zombies, this could be a perfect game for you.

While I'm at it: I'd better dis-recommend you playing/buying Darksiders. Although it's fun, it is a terrible port, almost unplayable on PC.

What are you talking about? It's a great port. I seriously can't say one bad thing about it.

I can't say one good thing about it. Because holding a key to focus is really helpful for PC gamers.

Well, I've completed it like thrice, but for the first time I got all achievements.

Check here

Nice, now do it with Episode 1 and 2! It's fun - trust me. Especially the garden gnome one :D

I've already completed them before, but without focusing on achievements. I'm done with Half-Lifes for now. I'm kinda tired of them. Now I'm doing Portal - focusing on achievements of course. I freaking hate least steps challenges there.

ed: I'm doing CS:GO achievements also. I think that I have only milestons left, like rescuring hostages and winning arms race or demolution games.

Nice. I wanted to do Portal achievements as well but they're pretty time consuming. Or I'd have to look to guides a lot. Either way, 100% Portals didn't appeal to me.

Borderlands 2, FUCK THAT WAS ANNOYINGLY LONG!

That, and made the terrible choice of using gold keys when i was lvl 34, pretty much spoiled the rest of the game for me.

The Last of Us on Hard Mode. Fun and fluid gameplay, but mediocre storyline.

Beating the main story so you can see the credits after I guess. At least that's the case in most of the games. Some games can't be beaten obviously but that's minority.
